Location:                Lion’s Club Camp:         Lamoille Canyon in the Ruby Mountains

25 miles southeast of Elko, Nevada in Lamoille Canyon.  Directions:  Exit I-80 at Elko, from Idaho Street turn south on to 12^th Street until you reach the Lamoille Highway.  Turn left on the Lamoille Highway, drive approximately 19 miles, and turn right at the sign indicating Lamoille Canyon.  Turn right at the sign for the Elko Lions Club Camp.  Watch for Shoot Signs.

Registration:     3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, June 1^st, and from 7:00am to 9:30am Saturday, June 2^nd. 

Pre-Registration must be received by May 30^th.  Early Bird Raffle for all shooters that pre- register!

 

Time:                        Saturday:            Staggered Start between 7:00am and 9:30am – limit 6 shooters per target, please.

                              Sunday:               Shotgun Start – 8:00am with shooter’s meeting at 7:30am sharp!!!     

Awards:                   Silver Belt Buckles for 1^st place in all adult styles, zinc buckles for 2^nd and 3^rd place in all adult styles.

Zinc buckles for 1^st place in youth and cub divisions.  All kids will receive a participation award.

Award ceremony for Cubs and younger will be held Saturday afternoon after 5:30 p.m. at the

main lodge.  Awards for Adults and Youth will be held Sunday afternoon.                     

Format:                    Unmarked 3D animals: 40 on Saturday and 20 on Sunday  

Adult & Youth score both days. Cubs and younger can shoot both days, but compete for score on Saturday only.  Cubs and younger will receive awards Saturday afternoon after 5:30pm at the main lodge.  Adults and Youth will receive awards on Sunday afternoon.

 

Senior Olympics:  For shooters age 50 and over the Senior Olympics will be held in conjunction

with the Bowhunter Classic.  There will be separate registration fees at the shoot, plus separate

awards; gold, silver and bronze medals.  You will be shooting both shoots at once.  Go for the GOLD!

Rules:                       Binoculars, OK.                                                             NO range finders

                              1 arrow:  12, 10, 8, 5 scoring                                      Ties will result in shoot off

Scorecards are color coded by division.  It is the shooters responsibility to make sure they have the correct color of score card for their division.

Scorecards must be turned in on time and correctly totaled.

Top Flights will shoot together on Sunday.  Equipment may be checked.

Accommodations:          Water will be provided on the shooting range.  Breakfast and Lunch will be served both days at a reasonable rate.

Campsites are available nearby.

A-Frames are available.  Make your reservation early as they are limited.

Weather:            We will not cancel due to weather; rainy conditions are likely.  Boots and long pants are suggested.  Some terrain is steep and brushy.
